Cody Fletcher

A lifelong Memphian, Cody Fletcher joined the UNDC in 2018 to lead economic development efforts in the University District. This includes management of the Highland Revitalization Tax Increment Financing (TIF) program, a $30MM+ public infrastructure improvement project. Cody oversees day-to-day operations of all projects, coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to execute construction.

Apart from the TIF, Cody works with developers, community stakeholders, business owners, government officials, and others to facilitate real estate projects in the area. These efforts have helped stabilize numerous blighted and nuisance properties throughout the district.

Cody is active in the community, having served previously on the Memphis Blight Elimination Steering Team, as Vice President of the East Buntyn Neighborhood Association, and on the Memphis Youth Guidance Commmission.

Cody holds Bachelor's degrees in Economics and History from The University of Memphis.
